Terry Hui is Chairman of Maximizer Software's board and is responsible for the Company's high-level strategic activities. Born in Hong Kong and educated in the United States, Terry received his undergraduate degree in Physics from the University of California at Berkeley and earned a Masters of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Santa Clara University.
Terry holds a number of corporate directorships including being a director of Husky Energy Inc. and Chairman of abc Multiactive Limited in Hong Kong. He is also President & CEO of Concord Pacific Group Inc., a real estate development company responsible for the Concord Pacific Place development in Vancouver and the CityPlace development in downtown Toronto. Terry is well established in Vancouver's business community and is a director of the Vancouver Board of Trade.
Tom Bennett, Maximizer Software's former Chief Technology Officer, is a member of Maximizer's board. Having served as both Chief Technology Officer and co-President of Maximizer Software, Bennett brings more than 18 years of CRM software industry experience to the company's board of directors. Under his co-presidency, the company grew its CRM business by more than 50% over four years. The original architect of the company's popular contact management product Maximizer, Bennett is trained as an electrical engineer and holds a Bachelor of Applied Science degree.
Bennett is regularly quoted in technology trade magazines, including VARBusiness, CRM magazine and CRM Guru, and was invited to speak at the Consumer Electronics Association Industry Forum in San Francisco, CA.
Mark Skapinker, a software industry veteran, is a member of Maximizer's board. Mark co-founded Delrina Corporation, which created Winfax, one of the most popular Windows programs of all time. Mark was President of Delrina until Symantec acquired it in 1995 for over $600 million.
In 1997, Mark founded Balisoft Technologies which joined with Servicesoft Technologies in 1999 to become the first major vendor offering comprehensive customer service solutions via the Internet. Broadbase acquired Servicesoft in 2000 for approximately $650 million. Mark has served on the board of directors of many companies including: PC Docs, Softquad Inc., NewKidco International, Delrina Corporation, Symantec Corporation, Esafe Technologies and others. Mark currently operates Brightspark, Canada's first Internet incubator.
Richard Whittall, a capital investment consultant, is a member of Maximizer's board. Richard brings substantial audit expertise and corporate board experience to the board. He is a co-founder and director of investment banking at Watershed Capital Partners. He also sits on the boards of China Enterprises Limited, Glacier Ventures International Corp., Intrinsic Capital Corp., and Miranda Mining Corporation.
Richard received his undergraduate degree in Arts from the University of British Columbia and earned his Master of Arts degree from the University of Cambridge. He is a Fellow of the Cambridge Commonwealth Trust.
Kevin Armitage, a Managing Partner at JMP Securities and is a member of Maximizer's board. Kevin leads JMP's Internet, a digital media investment banking effort. Prior to joining JMP, Kevin served as an independent consultant to numerous software companies. From 1998 until 2003, Kevin was a Managing Director at First Albany Capital with oversight of enterprise infrastructure and application software investment banking. Kevin previously spent three years in Robertson Stephens' software investment banking group and began his career at Dillon, Read; Co. Kevin received his Bachelor of Commerce degree from Queen's University.
